This gorgeous glass bowl with peony flowers in tones of pink, peach and yellow on a cream background is sure to be a conversation piece! It can be used as a display piece, or as a serving bowl.
The flowers are made doing kiln casting using powdered and finely ground glass called Frit. It’s then backed with hand rolled cream colored sheet glass. Finally the glass is placed on top of a mold and heated again just to the point where it “slumps” into the form of the mold.
